James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift comes from above."

Today at my doc appointment, my doctor randomly asked me how Miss VA prep was going & then followed up with asking me what my talent is. When I told him that my talent was singing, he asked me to sing just a bit for him...which then led me to singing my Miss VA talent song for the rest of his staff 😂the sad reality was when they asked, “Where do you perform, you belong on the Kennedy Center? ” & I replied that I really don’t that much anymore (in regards to performing in an opera or production) & they responded by saying that I can’t just keep a gift like that to myself.

But perhaps my favorite thing that came out of my impromptu performance was when my doctor said that I sang with such confidence and purity. ... & to those who know my journey with my voice and opera, you know how beautiful those words ring to me and to any vocalist.

Today has been so full circle and has reminded me of my favorite bible verse and the reason behind my first tattoo James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift comes from above”. 💕🙈 #progress
